USCC is in the midst of a full-scale, grassroots education and outreach
campaign in Washington to advance our industry's effectiveness and viability
and to improve the climate change legislation in Congress to benefit all
organics recyclers. We are hoping to convince the Senate to improve the
language of the climate change bill to give our industry a more level
playing field. We have met already met with many Senators' offices on
Capitol Hill that are involved with drafting the bill.
The Councils efforts are coordinated and ongoing in an effort to influence
the most favorable outcome for the composting industry as this legislation
moves through congress. Please lend your direct assistance by signing the
online petition:

Thanks for your support.
