[USCC] States considering foodscrap bans

Rod,

Alameda County is taking the first step with a landfill ban of plant debris.  The following link will take you to the December '08 agenda which contains the staff Report and ordinance.  http://www.stopwaste.org/docs/12-17-08pkt.pdf. 

We will have the second reading of the ordinance at the January Meeting.
