Dear Craig,   Is Dr. Elaine Ingham, Soil Food Web International, on your
list?  She has been very helpful in the past to me to source answers to
unusual questions in what I will call "practical, applied soil
microbiology."   Nadja Galadram   Let's Grow Soil

Colleagues:

Is any one aware of any data showing composts to contain bacteria of the
species Neisseria sicca? I'm trying to research innovative ways to compost
cellulose acetate (CA) and Japanese researchers (Sakai, 1996) found
Neisseria sicca SB and SC to be effective in biodegradation of CA (they
isolated the microorganism from soil).

Many thanks!

Craig
