[USCC] Compost Pile Covers?

Compost Pile Cover Use?
Have any compost producers had experience using one of the brands of 'non-woven polypropylene' compost pile covers? 
There are a few brands available such as; 'Compostex', 'TopTex' and ACS (and maybe others?). 
I am interested in learning how effective they are, their durability, ease of use, etc.
