Does anyone following this list have any experience with, or knowledge of
anyone adding rock dust to early stage compost with the goal of getting
healthier and more productive microbial master composters?

We've occasionally added some well drilling dust, most particles in the size
range of 0.1 µm diameter. I've been told that when they drill a water well
in this area (60 miles north of New York City), that they often go down 400
- 600' and in the process, go through many different kinds of rock. I am
wondering whether this makes a diversified mineral stew.

I've read that even the microbes are often mineral starved.

Does anyone know how we can research this area?

There is some impressive information on www.remineralize.org.
