Richard,

You definitly can compost the egss and poultry. The shells are calcium and if crushed during the composting process would be abenefit to the process. In any event they would affect product quality and if you screen the product at the end of the composting process through 6 mm screen or even slightly smaller the shells may not even show.

You may try contacting Bill O'Riley at "Bill O'Reilly" <trident at eject.co.za> They have a composting facility and may be willing to run a test for you.
