[USCC] Zeolites in compost

Hi Neal,  I am not able to open the links you provided.  I began my career with Union Carbide as a chemist in their Molecular Sieve, zeolite division.  I know that natural zeolites are excellent ion exchangers of NH4+ and thus have the potential to reduce ammonia odors.  Not sure of the concentrations necessary.  In their natural form I don't believe that most of these material will have much of an effect on K+ or Phosphorous.....More may be learned by obtaining a book by "Breck" entitled "Molecual Sieve Zeolites"...Hope this helps...
