[USCC] How to process the HUman Dirty to become Compost

On a larger scale vision, the Asian Development Bank has identified waste
management in Asia, especially the cities, as a significant issue, and have
already commenced funding several larger development schemes to deal with
the issue eg Manilla, Phillipines.

Maybe this needs adding to the many priorities confronting Medan, Sumatra,
along with the aftermath of a tsunami, and the tsunami reconstruction
nearby.

However, one has to start somewhere.

On site composting of materials from fresh vegetable markets and similar
areas can be done, and done effectively, with the product used then for
vegetable production, using nearby wastelands for composting. A great
project has been running in Cambodia along similar lines as well as many in
Bangladesh and India.

Also see www.gough.com.au for a composting toilet developed specifically for
tropical regions, initially the pacific islands.
