DATCP - Farm Center, Rural Electric Power Service (REPS) program
>
>The Farm and Rural Services Bureau Director
>position has been a vacant position for many
>years. This position would oversee the operation
>of the Farm Center, Rural Electric Power Service
>(REPS) Program, plus many other farmer related
>support programs at DATCP. It would involve a
>very dynamic and broad range of interactions
>with public, other state agencies and
>legislators in addition to managing a small
>staff that includes me. (Hope that doesn't scare
>any one away.) Personally I think the Farm
>Center is staffed by a number of wonderful
>people that really pull together to handle
>various personal and industry crisises that come
>to the Farm Center periodically.
>
>Closing date for applications is February 12th.
>Further details of position and process follows.
>Good luck to those that apply for the position.
