[USCC] Fwd: A Virus, rather than Prions, May be the Cause of Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (BSE)

Edo and others;

No such issue of cattle deaths or fraud was ever proven in the trials surrounding these cases. One case was dismissed and the other case was settled not on the death of cattle but on "a breach of contract'. As for the 'fraud charges'. They are nothing more than charges. Let's see how the litigation turns out before anybody rushes to yell fraud.

Edo;  You are too much.

cheers

alan

  Hi Guys------------thanks for the well thought-out input. The problem, at least one of the problems, as you noted, is the testing. Part 503 and the regs of the CIWMB do not include or entertain many of these issues. Thus, while the product may meet "standards" assuming adequacy of regulatory over-sight, which is also really questionable, this does not assure adequate safety margins. To give you an idea of how far this has been pushed off the radar, look at the Qui Tam case involving the cattle killed from sewage sludge that was applied on pastureland and the extent to which fraud was used.

  The recently filed Qui Tam Complaint is posted on the homepage of sludgefacts.org which reveals in detail to what illegal and unethical lengths EPA and industry friendly UGA scientists went to fabricate fraudulent data in the Augusta Georgia Cows-Dead-from-Eating-Sludged-Feed" case.
