Pursuant to a pending yard waste ban at the local landfill we are
establishing 3 Community Yard Waste Drop Off sites in northern Delaware.
The sites are intended to accept yard waste only (leaves, brush,
branches, grass, garden waste and Christmas trees) from residents only.
Periodically the accumulated yard waste will be ground into mulch which
will be available for the residents to remove for free for their own
use. We will not be composting at these sites. Based on our experience
to date the bulk of the yard waste received consists mainly of brush and
branches with minimal quantities of leaf, grass and garden waste. There
is a claim that there will be detrimental environmental impacts
(fertilizer runoff, pesticides, vermin, etc.) from operation of the
site. I am interested in receiving any information you may have that
either supports or counters this claim.

Thank you.
