[USCC] Plywood Sawdust in Compost

In Ontario, Canada
The use of plywood, treated, or painted board in compost would create an
obligation to treat all the resulting compost as a 'waste' and disposal/use
would need to be accompanied by a provincial waste permit.

Ontario's regulations - correctly - put restrictions on contaminated wastes
into compost in order to stop the use of compost to 'launder' toxic
materials. Without stronger regulatory standards and obligations the public
cannot be sure what they are getting when they buy compost.
