[USCC] Vertical composting

I think you should start by asking someone who sells silos to dairy farms.  They would have good experience with filling and emptying large verticle storage facilities.

You have not begun to see the problems of getting the material to flow down 
the tube and out of the bottom.  A cone bottomed exit would bridge beyond 
your current level of cuss words.

I think it is a great deal of work to use something that was designed to 
store a free flowing solid.
