[USCC] Food Waste composting assessment

Hello,
I am looking into establishing a small-scale compost operation in the downtown area of Vancouver, Canada.  Because the size of this business would be small or medium compared to municipal operations I have had trouble finding information about operations of a similar type.  This business is not a household compost business but rather one step larger than this.  

I was wondering if anyone would care to comment if they have information in initiatives like this anywhere else and if they had any experience with it.  I have also had trouble finding a proper price for this, in part because I do not know anyone that operates at this scale.
