[USCC] Compost Use in Golf Greens Construction

The only composters that I know of that are aggressively going after the
"peat moss" market is Del McGill of Organix, LLC, in Boardman, OR.  Maybe he
knows about how the specs of their material is used as a replacement in the
application you're looking at.

I met Del at the Pacific Southwest Organics Residual Symposium in Sacramento
in July 2006.

Is there anyone out there with information on using compost to replace
sphagnum peat moss in golf course greens construction?

I'm looking for USGA specifications and or actual references of courses and
or companies that have used it successfully. Also, how much compost as a
percentage of the total soil-less mix design?
