In Kansas we use public education to advance composting and recycling. We
currently have two campaigns that are ongoing. The first is the Kansas
Don't Spoil It! waste reduction campaign which promotes all sorts of
environmental initiatives from solid waste to air quality to water quality.
It can be accessed on our website at http://www.kdheks.gov/kdsi/index.html.
A companion is the Get Caught Recycling campaign which can be accessed
through the KDSI website or directly at http://www.getcaughtrecycling.org/.
Now we are wanting to add a hands on area that will attract children when
we are at environmental fairs and schools. We are planning on using toy
(1/25 scale equipment) to show a working landfill, composting site, and a
wood waste site. Our local CAT dealer is willing to donate the things that
would be useful at a landfill but doesn't have any toys that are either
wood waste or composting related.

Do any of the composting equipment manufactures or wood waste processing
equipment manufactures have 1/25 scale models of their equipment? We would
like to have at least one compost turner, one tub grinder and one
horizontal grinder. Other equipment might be useful if it were available.
We would like to have them donated, but would be able to pay a modest
amount if necessary.

Thanks for your help.
