As I understand, chemically, the glycerol byproduct from biodiesel (if that  
is the product you are interested in) should compost with ease. Most contain  
some predominantly glycerol, fatty acids, methanol, and some salts -- which  
might be an issue. Some of the biodiesel manufacturers use sodium hydroxide  
beads in their process, I would think the sodium content could be detrimental to 
 the finished compost product.
