We have a fair amount of composted particle board, sander dust and raw
sawdust on the ground. It has been a static pile for 2 to as much as 20 years.

We have had chemical analysis done at various depths from the surface to
several feet deep in multiple sites on the pile. We have found no fermaldehyde
even though it was a urea based formaldehyde resin used in the product.

It does contain an average of about 2.5% N though. Makes great grass seed
starter among other things.
