Dear Compost Listserve

There is probably a good 70 years of research on this in the agronomy journals, and a considerable body of emerging literature on NH3 hazards in barns, farms and in confined animal (and compost) operations. For those who want a more hands-on example of plant damage, lets recall the yellow patches on the back yard where dogs and boys have chosen to urinate.
