Hello Compost World,
I recently spoke to a greenskeeper in Canada who used a 1/8 - 1/4" topdressing of biosolids compost over one of his greens (poa annua dominant) and found that it helped the green overwinter better. Has anyone seen any research on using a compost topdressing to help reduce winter damage on greens in cold climates? Any personal experience?
Thanks,
Ron
