Colleagues:

The Board and Executive Director is gearing up for the USCC's 15th Annual
Conference and Trade Show. Every year the USCC seeks nominations for the
following awards:

Hi Kellogg Award for Outstanding Service to the Composting Industry

Rufus Chaney Award for Research Excellence

H. Clark Gregory Award for Outstanding Grassroots Efforts to Promote
Composting

Composter of the Year,

USCC Clean Water Award for 'Programs that Positively Impact Water Quality
through the Use of Compost'

For a description of these awards, please visit the USCC website at

You are the eyes and ears of the Council. You work with each other and know
who does an outstanding job representing the industry, conducting research
that forwards the industry, and working at the grass roots level to improve
the general publics understanding of composting and its environmental
benefits.

If you nominated someone last year, we thank you and ask that you submit
their nomination again if you wish. If you didn't nominate anyone but know a
good candidate, I encourage you to nominate them this year. If you have any
questions, feel free to call or email me.

Please email or call me if you'd like a copy of the Awards Nomination Form.

Regards,

Craig
