Hi Tami, Eric and Ken;

A resource worth checking your local cooperative extension service =20
office for a composting training and in many places referred to as =20
Master Composting Program. Worth while? here is a number of other =20
programs at universities and through non profits such as ours ranging =20=

from several days to a week with post class assignments.

Cheers,

Subject: [USCC] question about compost programs

This summer i conducted a compost program at a summer camp. I am
writing up

a report on the program to submit to the camp director and to other
camps in

the camping association, and I have been have difficulties finding
certain

information.

I noticed that getting the staff and campers to continue participating
in

the program throughout the summer was harder as the summer went on (8
weeks

of camp).

Is it normal for participation levels to drop after a certain period of

time?

Because the participation levels dropped in my program despite=A0 my
continued

effort to promote it, i was hoping to include some sort of statement
in my

report whether this is normal or not.

thank you very much for your time,

Amy Pepper
